The Wood Floor Company is locally owned and operated by Paul Kopacz.

The company employs 12 in house installers/sand and refinishers (still, our family is constantly growing). The majority of our employees have been with the company for many years. We strive to keep our employees content as a family and also responsible for the work that they perform. By keeping a family atmosphere, they do take pride in what they do. Respect for the client and his project is one of our main goals and concerns.

Wood working is our specialty here at The Wood Floor Company. Everything is done in house, however once in a while, if ever our work is sub-contracted out, we have close ties to several "extended family" relationships. These sub-contractors are still employed through The Wood Floor Company in order to keep our high standards of craftsmanship. Our goal is to meet your scheduling needs as well as give your individual project our full attention. Therefore, we make every effort to maintain personnel to accomodate our clients needs.

We specialize in custom patterns and in-lays for that one of a kind floor. For the customers in many of our older and sometimes historic homes in the bay area with the existing or old fashion hardwood floors, we also sand and refinish them to bring back their natural beauty with the same quality and care we give our new floors.

We have an extensive referral list of homeowners and contractors that we continue to work with and take pride in extending our list every day. Come visit our showroom which features a large variety of samples and many species of wood. We are open 7 days a week (please check for store hours).
